The Enchanted River

We suddenly appreciate what we created and others done. But do we appreciate what God has done and created? Creatures seem so unique and wonderful. We witnessed the beauty and the bountiness of wonders that God has been settled and gave us. Everything is so loud and should catch our attention. There are many wonders in our very own land that we already seen but never been appreciated and did not yet seen the real beauty of the place. We had gone so far yet we had reached this unique one. We appreciate this much and amazed in a glance that we had seen this place that caught up our attention. The Enchanted River located at Hinatuan in Surigao Del Sur. It is bounded on the east by the Pacific Ocean and only a few nautical miles off the Philippine deep. Its Enchanting view would definitely hooked the people that goes and will make time of staying there. It is also the place of having refreshments and feel satisfied looking in it. Hinatuan has a number of fringing reefs, isolated coral areas and coral atolls near surrounding coastal and offshore islands. It has 8 fish sanctuaries located at Barangays, Tidman, Loyola, Municipal Sanctuary (Barangay Poblacion), San Juan Mahaba Island, Talisay, Cambatong, and Port Lamon.
This town is blessed with a hidden treasure, a stunning blue lagoon within a mountainside and protectively covered by a forest. The locals consider it enchanted, hence called an Enchanted River. The river’s depth, particularly the dark blue portion, is estimated to be around 24 meters (80 feet).  The River is full of rich marine fishes of different varieties but no one is said to have ever caught one. Going there is surely worth paying for and it is a need for some recreation, meditation, enjoyment and it's really refreshing.

Hinatuan can be reached by land from Davao in an estimated 7 hours, or via Bislig City in less than 2 hours.
